ROCK ISLAND, Ill., (Sept. 3, 2014) – The 27th annual Inpro/Seal VIP Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $11,000 for Aspire, a nonprofit recognized throughout the Midwest as a leader in providing bold, pioneering and uncompromising services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Ninety-five Inpro/Seal customers, vendors and employees attended the VIP Charity Golf Tournament Aug. 8 at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Illinois, to raise money and build awareness for this deserving local cause. Through charitable giving, sponsorships and on-site events, Inpro/Seal raised $11,340 for Aspire.

“As an annual part of our giving program, we couldn’t be more excited about the success of this year’s event,” stated Tim Sexton, vice president and general manager of Inpro/Seal. “This is our highest VIP tournament donation to date, and we look forward to building on that success next year.”

Inpro/Seal has partnered with Aspire for the last three VIP tournaments, raising more than $30,000 to support the nonprofit’s enterprises, including Aspire Kids, Aspire Careers and Aspire Living.

“Inpro/Seal’s long-standing commitment enables Aspire to continue to serve as an innovator and pioneer, breaking new ground for kids and adults with disabilities and their families,” said Jim Kales, president and CEO of Aspire. “This partnership extends far beyond fundraising, as Inpro/Seal also purchases coffee from Aspire CoffeeWorks and provides work for adults at Aspire. We are fortunate and proud to have the support of such a dynamic organization.”

Aspire provides high-quality, personalized services to more than 1,000 kids and adults with developmental disabilities in the Chicagoland area. From its inception over 50 years ago, Aspire has pushed the boundaries of what is possible for people with disabilities. Today, Aspire continues to promote models of inclusion ahead of society’s expectations.

Their goal is to build a community where people of all abilities live, learn and grow together.
