(Jan. 5, 2015) – For the first time, engineering firms, end users, contractors and purchasers have a single point-of-contact to readily source all of their industrial and marine fire protection systems and equipment. Andrew M. Crawford, known as an expert in industrial pumping systems and equipment, is leading this initiative for Pentair.
With Andrew’s appointment, Pentair Engineered Flow is forming a national distribution network in the U.S. and Canada with internal sales teams dedicated to a single purpose: meeting the unique and challenging needs of industrial fire protection. From pumps and drivers, to control panels and valves, Pentair Engineered Flow has full sourcing responsibility and control over all necessary components and replacement parts.
Pentair has long been a global player in commercial and industrial fire protection for offshore and onshore uses alike. Aurora and Fairbanks Nijhuis, the industrial fire team is focused on the unique needs of industrial users for fire protection through a dedicated distribution network. Crawford’s initial work will involve developing and fine-tuning his national distribution team. Pentair plans to increase its distribution network with the addition of dedicated industrial fire distributors. These distributors will be focused on oil and gas, marine, power/utilities, chemical and manufacturing industries as full service providers.
