MUSCAT (3 August 2015)—Oman has succeeded in attaining a new achievement in the country’s oil industry. In July 2015, the Sultanate broke a record in regard to the average daily production of crude oil and condensate. The average daily production rate during July exceeded the barrier of 1 million barrels for the first time in the history of Oman’s oil industry. The total month’s average daily production rate during the month of July reached 1,001,081 barrels. The country's daily average production of the crude oil and condensate during July 2015 (31 days) has increased by 0.48 percent, compared with the average production of June 2015 (30 days) or equivalent to 8,300 barrels per day.
