(Dec. 29, 2015) – Danfoss has appointed Miha Kavcic as head of sales and business development in North America. In this role, Kavcic will be responsible for advancing the company’s business within the heating market—including energy-saving hydronic balancing and control, electric heating and combined heat and power solutions.
Kavcic has spent more than 15 years with Danfoss, most recently as vice president responsible for Danfoss’ global hydronic balancing and control product business. He also has extensive product management experience in global markets.
In the United States, buildings account for 40 percent of total energy consumption—creating a significant opportunity to improve energy efficiency, and Danfoss is investing in innovative technologies to help control energy use and improve indoor comfort.
Danfoss manufactures electronic and mechanical components and controls for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, industrial and water systems.
