FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Sept. 12, 2016)—Franklin Electric Co. Inc. announced the appointment of Jonathan M. Grandon as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of the company. Grandon will be responsible for the company’s legal and human resource functions and will also play an integral role in leading various business development activities.

Grandon had most recently been senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Biomet Inc., a leading multinational health care and medical device company. He had also previously been a partner in the Chicago office of Ropes & Gray LLP and prior to that, a partner at Mayer Brown LLP. Grandon holds a BA degree from Columbia University and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
