CANBY, Oregon (Dec. 20, 2016)—Mike Retter has joined Franklin Electric’s Pioneer Pump and Artificial Lift group as Region Manager for the Southeast Region of North America. He started his new responsibilities on Nov. 29.
Mike Retter has joined Franklin Electric’s Pioneer Pump and Artificial Lift group as Region Manager for the Southeast Region of North America Retter’s responsibilities will be the development of sales and distribution coverage for the Pioneer Pump and Artificial Lift product lines of Franklin Electric. His area of coverage will be Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
He has extensive experience in the pump industry working with pump manufacturers to establish and grow sales through distribution and direct outlets. For the past four years prior to joining Franklin, he served as the district sales manager, southeast region—municipal products for the Gorman Rupp Company.
Prior to this, he had 20 years of experience with ITT Corp / Xylem / Flygt serving in several sales and managerial functions. During his tenure, he served as district sales manager encompassing the southeast region, and served as a branch manager in the Chicago and Charlotte, North Carolina, regions.
