DUBLIN (April 6, 2017) -- The United States water and wastewater treatment chemicals market is forecast to reach $5 billion by 2026, according to a new report by Research and Markets.
Research and Markets find that an increase in industrial facilities across the country, along with government policies like the NPDES permit requirement, is positively affecting the treatment chemicals market. From the report:
"Consistently rising urbanization and industrialization has led to increasing water consumption in the US, which is leading to generation of enormous amount of wastewater. This coupled with stringent policies by USEPA is augmenting demand for water & wastewater treatment chemicals in the country."
The report mentions growth in end-use industries like chemical, paper and pul, and mining and mineral processing is also propelling the growth of water and wastewater chemicals in the U.S.
