Koch Membrane Systems has just acquired Canadian ion exchange systems manufacturer Eco-Tec Inc. Eco-Tec’s ion exchange-based solutions will allow Koch Membrane Systems to provide full-scale separation solutions. ST. LOUIS – To accommodate global customer demand for its industrial electric motors, Nidec Motor Corporation (NMC) recently expanded its Monterrey, Mexico manufacturing facility. The $2.3 million investment expanded the facility by 60,000 square feet, increased its production capacity and improved operations.
The facility is part of NMC’s Commercial Industrial Motors & Drives (CIMD) business.

Ellesmere Port, U.K. — Cook Compression has opened a satellite service facility in Sicily, Italy. The service facility supports the rapid reconditioning of compressor valves for ISAB S.r.l, a part of Lukoil Oil Company, and other refineries in the region. ISAB has awarded Cook Compression a multiyear contract to provide technical support, reconditioning and upgrades for reciprocating compressor valves.
