San Juan Capistrano, Calif., - Meggitt Sensing Systems, a Meggitt group division, announced the promotion of Sharon Nelson to Vice President, Contract Management.
As Vice President, Contract Management, Ms. Nelson is responsible for the overall management of a newly established, fully dedicated contract management function, to include customers, partners and supplier relationships across all development sites of Meggitt Sensing Systems.
A more than 30-year Meggitt employee, Ms. Nelson began her career at Allied-Signal as Senior Contracts Manager and, following the acquisition of Endevco Corporation by Meggitt, her role was further expanded to include overall management of the customer service department. In 2003, she was promoted to Director of Contracts and Customer Service, a position she has held for the past eight years. Ms. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and a Certificate of Professional Designation in Government Contract Management from the University of California at Los Angeles.
