A 56 Minute Free Training:
Learn how to recognize and properly diagnose this problem
Cavitation and air entrainment are common problems affecting pumps in the wastewater industry. Both problems cause damage to pumps, reduce pump life, and increase maintenance cost, however cavitation and air entrainment have very different root causes. In this course you will learn how to recognize and properly diagnose each of these problems, as well as learn possible solutions to each. This “201” level course assumes the student already has some knowledge and experience regarding the topic, as well as a basic understanding of NPSH and NPSH margin in wastewater pumps.

This advanced level course focuses on two common problems encountered with centrifugal pumps: cavitation and air entrainment. Although usually unrelated, both can cause big operational problems that lead to frequent failures and costly maintenance.
Attendees will learn:
- How to recognize cavitation and air entrainment
- The effects of these problems
- How to test for them
- How to repair systems that have them
