George Weihrauch is a product manager for severe duty and explosion-proof AC motors for Baldor Electric, a member of the ABB Group. Weihrauch continues to build on his 24-year career at Baldor, using his extensive experience as a sales engineer, application engineer and project manager to increase customer perceived value of Baldor products. He has published articles covering a wide range of motor topics, including energy efficiency. He is also a regular presenter at conferences and training seminars covering motor application issues in process industries and the use of motors in potentially explosive environments.
