HOUSTON, Texas - Technical Toolboxes has appointed Drew Lafleur as chief technology officer.

Based in Houston, Lafleur will lead and manage the company’s team of technical experts. He will focus on company strategy for identifying and prioritizing development initiatives, selecting technologies and methodologies to employ and setting timetables for the evaluation, development and deployment of all of Technical Toolboxes’ technology applications and technical training courses.

“Drew has been an important part of the management team since joining us in 2017 and has been employing valuable company-wide strategies for improved efficiency and communication," said Martin Fingerhut, CEO of Technical Toolboxes. "He serves a vital role in securing opportunities for Technical Toolboxes to productize and commercialize our software technologies to support continued growth. We are delighted to have him onboard.”

Lafleur gained more than 10 years worth of experience in a range of engineering roles within ConocoPhillips, working in locations across the continental United States. Before joining Technical Toolboxes, Lafleur served as director of Upstream Solutions for TeQnovation.

He holds bachelor of science degrees in both petroleum engineering and biological science, gained at Louisiana State University, and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Association.
