DANBURY, Conn. – Tech Air, a Connecticut-based distributor of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and related equipment and supplies, announced today that it has acquired Speed Industrial Supply (“Speed”) of Kemah, Texas. Speed is a distributor of industrial and welding supplies serving the Galveston Bay area near Houston, Texas. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Trump's America-First Offshore Energy Strategy, Deputy Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt announced that region-wide Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale 251 generated $178,069,406 in high bids for 144 tracts covering 801,288 acres in federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico. A total of 29 companies participated in the lease sale, submitting $202,667,923 in bids.
HOUSTON – Orbital Gas Systems has been awarded an exclusive contract to provide routine maintenance, repair and calibration for a major UK natural gas transmission company (the “operator”). The two-year contract is valued at approximately £1,150,000 ($1,500,000), begins September 1 and includes a one-year extension option.
