Dr. Gary Dyson leads the global advanced engineering group for Hydro and received his Ph.D. from Cranfield University on CFD in centrifugal pumps. Gary has spent his entire career specializing in rotating equipment. He has used his hydraulic expertise to help many customers re-engineer their equipment to improve reliability, performance and efficiency.

Gary is responsible for thousands of pump designs carried out on upgrades and new equipment. He has presented papers on pump designs to the ImechE and ASME and holds a patent on a zero emissions device for the stuffing box of reciprocating pumps.
