New & Notable Technology: March 2026
A look at new and notable products in the world of pumps and systems.

MAX RGT regenerative turbine pump from Rogue Pump

1. TURBINE PUMP

The MAX RGT regenerative turbine pump from Rogue Pump offers high efficiency gas dissolution into a fluid without cavitation. The pump applies a combined triple action force (centrifugal, axial and friction) to the gas and fluid during a single pass through the pump head. Whether applying atmospheric air, nitrogen or other gases to water and/or other fluids, the saturation level is the highest possible. This technology is particularly well suited for dissolved air flotation (DAF), membrane water reuse systems and hydrocarbon oil recovery systems.

XRAY-S-5800 robotic gripper from Zaytran Automation

2. ROBOTIC GRIPPER

The XRAY-S-5800 robotic gripper from Zaytran Automation was designed to increase throughput in large-part automation by supporting high accelerations, heavy moment loads and stable part transfer at higher robot velocities. A key design enhancement is the XRAY-S-5800’s dual machine-tool bearing rails, which allow the gripper to sustain side and moment loads generated during multi-G acceleration and deceleration. Other features include 5,800 N (1,300 lb) of gripping force per jaw; up to 1,400 Nm (1,020 ft-lb) of torque; analog and digital scale options that indicate slide position and confirm part size; and optional power-out-brake (POB) that mechanically locks the jaws if pneumatic pressure is lost, helping prevent part drops during power outages.

CU 302 smart controller from Grundfos

3. SMART CONTROLLER

Designed for 3-inch and 4-inch SQE submersible pumps in residential groundwater installations, the CU 302 smart controller from Grundfos maintains constant pressure while optimizing pump performance and energy consumption. With built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the CU 302 enables remote monitoring and control, helping users spot issues early and reduce unnecessary site visits. Pump speed automatically adjusts to maintain constant pressure while significantly reducing energy consumption, minimizing wear and enabling the use of a smaller pressure tank.

Flowserve’s INNOMAG TB-MAG Dual Drive pump

4. MAGNETIC DRIVE PUMP

Flowserve’s INNOMAG TB-MAG Dual Drive pump is a magnetic drive pump that is double hermetically sealed with independent secondary containment for operator safety and environmental protection. The liquid and drive sections of the pump are both sealed airtight, allowing the motor to remain liquid-free and operational. The pump also has an additional layer of corrosion resistance for handling chemicals due to a nonmetallic liner, which coats the pump internally. Other features include: minimal maintenance thanks to a single set of bearings; higher efficiency due to zero eddy current loss; and the ability to handle solids up to 30% in volume.

Graco’s Dyna-Star series pumps

5. GREASE & OIL PUMPS

Graco’s Dyna-Star series pumps provide oil or grease bulk fluid transfer or automatic lubrication in a broad range of applications. They are available in pneumatic, hydraulic or electric configurations. Hardened steel gears are lubricated for life and sealed to keep contaminants out for longer-lasting performance. Adjustable motor and amp control allows users to make adjustments with the turn of a dial, while the direct-mount electric vent valve’s compact design means fewer parts to break or wear out. The remote fill manifold enables clean and efficient ground-level filling up to 5,000 psi (344 bar).

GD Bandlock 2 closures from Celeros

6. CLOSURES

GD Bandlock 2 closures from Celeros provide horizontal or vertical access to any pressure vessel in seconds. Any size of unit can be opened or closed in less than a minute, with no special tools required. The main pressure loaded sections have been designed to save weight by employing finite element analytical techniques and proof testing by strain gauges, while still adhering to primary pressure vessel code requirements. The locking band mechanism is a duplex stainless steel conical thrust ring fitted between the door and hub, transmitting the pressure load uniformly around the full 360-degree circumference of the hub. The one-piece molding is available in a range of elastomers and incorporates a stainless steel spring to prevent extrusion and provide a full vacuum capability.
