ALABASTER, ALABAMA—On December 31, 2018, Sherrell (SL) Mooney retired from Sealing Equipment Products Co., Inc., (SEPCO) after 44 years of service to the industry. The SEPCO team celebrated his retirement on December 21, 2018.
Hired on March 31, 1974, Mooney has worked in nearly every department at SEPCO, including most of the areas within the plant and ultimately in customer service.
Chris Wilder, SEPCO CEO, reflected on Mooney’s contributions to the company: “SL has been a fixture and constant positive presence here. We will miss his personality and are grateful for the relationships he developed with our customers and his mentorship of our inside sales team.”
Patrick Cunningham has transitioned into Mooney’s role. Before his time at SEPCO, Cunningham worked in the transportation industry selling heavy transport equipment and parts and also spent time working in industrial distribution sales.
