LACEY, Wash. - Engineered Software, Inc. (ESI) announced today the appointment of Tom Suter as the company’s next chief executive officer.

Suter, who recently moved to the Pacific Northwest after a long and successful career running and managing technology companies across the United States, succeeded Christy Bermensolo, ESI’s CEO since 2014 effective June 17.

Founders Ray Hardee and Carolyn Popp are looking forward to Suter assuming the reins, as he brings a unique combination of skills and experience that will lead the company’s next phase of growth. Hardee also noted that the direction of the company is solid.

Christy Bermensolo, who will be continuing in her role as an owner and board member, talked about the selection process.

“We’ve been planning this transition since February with assistance from Executive Search agencies in Seattle," Bermensolo said. "Tom has all the qualities and experience I could ever hope to have in a successor.”
