STOCKTON, Calif. - This letter comes from Fluid Sealing Association (FSA) president Rob Coffee, announcing the cancellation of the in-person FSA meeting set for this fall.

After thoughtful consideration of the feedback provided by FSA members, as well as the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, recent spikes in new infections, and its impact on travel and large gatherings, the FSA’s Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person 2020 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona. The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have taken a tremendous toll on both the business community and our day-to-day lives, and our thoughts are with all that have been impacted by it.

Although we are unable to safely meet in-person right now, we intend to maintain momentum and continue bringing valuable content to FSA members by planning virtual meetings to be held over the same dates – October 20-22, 2020. The schedule is expected to include:

  • Committee and Division Meetings
  • Virtual Business Meeting with Committee Updates and Director Elections
  • Forums for Members to Engage and Discuss Issues
  • Presentations on Timely and Relevant Topics

In addition, we are currently working to confirm the Kimpton Hotel Palomar in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2021 Annual Meeting. Please keep an eye out for additional information on both the upcoming virtual meetings and the 2021 Annual Meeting as it becomes available.

I want to sincerely thank you for your ongoing support of the FSA, and while we regret that we are unable to hold in-person meetings right now, I know that the FSA community continues to be strong and vibrant. Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do to help, and I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Rob Coffee

FSA President
