Doug Backman Named North American Sales Director at Lafert

MISSISSAUGA, ON - Lafert North America, a supplier of motors and drives, announced the appointment of Douglas Backman as their North American Sales Director with the responsibility of driving all aspects of sales including strategic business relationships while providing vision for sales strategies and their implementation.

Backman brings over 30 years of diverse growth and leadership in the electrical industry with experience in both Canada and the USA.

Most recently, Backman was the vice president of Danfoss (Vacon) Canada Inc for the past 10 years, winning numerous awards throughout his career including "Sales Company Excellence Award".
