LUBBOCK, Texas – Lubbock, Texas-based SIMFLO has announced significant operational advancements, including major upgrades to its Arizona pump testing facility, the opening of a new quality control center in Lubbock and the launch of a new corporate website. These initiatives are designed to enhance product quality, improve customer service and support the company’s strategic growth.
To better serve its growing customer base in the western U.S., SIMFLO has completed significant upgrades to its 10,000-square-foot turbine pump testing facility in Willcox, Arizona. Renovations and improvements include a redesigned test pit engineered to test 4- to 9-inch submersible pumps, updates to valves and metering systems, new decking and grading, the addition of two 10-ton cranes offering a 40,000 lb. lift capacity, added medium-voltage power to support high-performance testing up to 1,000 horsepower (hp) and flow rates up to 30,000 gallons per minute and data collection technology to enhance testing precision and efficiency. Serving as both an overflow site for Lubbock to enhance delivery times and proximity to testing, the upgraded Willcox location also operates as a distribution warehouse, enabling faster, more cost-effective shipments to Arizona, California and the broader West Coast for increased responsiveness and value.
In addition, SIMFLO has opened a new state-of-the-art 30,000-square-foot Quality Control Facility on its expanding corporate campus in Lubbock. Set to be fully operational within the next 4–6 weeks, this facility marks a significant leap forward in SIMFLO’s commitment to product excellence and customer trust. Under the leadership of SIMFLO’s Quality & Customer Support Director Lisa Leach, P.E., the facility conducts comprehensive inspections on all components not manufactured in-house, including batch sampling, discharge head testing, weld and dimensional certification, weld and coating inspection (with a NACE Level 1 inspector on staff) and new product assessment prior to performance testing. By centralizing critical quality assurance processes in this advanced space, SIMFLO ensures every product meets the highest standards of reliability and performance, strengthening quality control systems for customers worldwide.
“As we continue to invest in advanced testing and quality assurance, we are reinforcing our commitment to deliver innovative, dependable solutions for our customers around the globe,” said Jay Tando, chief operating officer at SIMFLO. “These facility upgrades exemplify our dedication to engineering excellence and meeting the evolving needs of the industries we serve.”
In support of its global footprint, SIMFLO has launched a new corporate website (www.SIMFLO.com) that reflects a modern, innovative approach to digital engagement. Designed and developed by Fort Worth-based PAVLOV Agency, the site features a clean, user-friendly interface, intuitive navigation and a custom ChatGPT tool ensuring customers and employees can easily access information and ask questions.
