WAYNE, Penn. – The Fluid Sealing Association has announced the appointment of Jason Ferris as president of the Association. Ferris is currently director/GM of the Cryogenic Solutions business unit in Flowserve’s Pumps Division and is based in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Ferris has 28 years of experience with mechanical seals and rotating equipment, having worked as an Application Engineer and Product Development Engineer, and in leadership roles within R&D, Engineering, Marketing, and Product Management for seals and aftermarket products. He holds five patents and earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western Michigan University. He has served on the Association’s Board of Directors since 2018 and most recently completed a two-year term as Vice President (2023–2025).
An active member of the Fluid Sealing Association since 2013, Mr. Ferris has played a significant role in the Mechanical Seals Division and previously served as Chair of the division.
