ERLANGEN, Germany (April 30, 2015) – Siemens, together with its South Korean customer POSCO Energy & Construction, have completed the Incheon LNG CCPP 7, 8 and 9 combined cycle power plant units. These units were erected at the existing site in Incheon, around 30 kilometers west of Seoul. Units 7 and 8 were completed on July 30, 2014 and October 21, 2014 respectively, while unit 9 went online on January 17, 2015.

PUNE, India (27 April 2015)—Kirloskar Ebara Pumps Limited (KEPL), a sister concern of Kirloskar Brothers Limited and leaders in critical process pumps and turbines, finished testing #2500 pressure class pump designed and manufactured for Saudi Aramco, a Saudi Arabia base oil company.
Testing of 10-stage high speed and high pressure API BB5 Pumps took place at Kirloskarvadi, Maharashtra, which was witnessed by select officials from Thermax and Engineers India Limited (EIL).
KUWAIT CITY (7 April 2015)—Emerson Process Management has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). Emerson will support KOC by providing educational services consulting. The two companies will work together to promote automation knowledge and technology transfers, identify necessary technical training for the company’s operations and maintenance staff, and develop learning and development programs in order to prepare personnel for future projects.
(27 April 2015)—Wärtsilä has received orders to supply two Smart Power Generation power plants for Rural Areas Electricity Company (RAECO) in Oman. The power plants, with a combined capacity of 104 MW, will supply electricity to rural areas in southeastern Oman, outside the national grid. The power stations will operate in extreme conditions of up to 52 Celsius degrees.
