LEUVEN, Belgium (March 12, 2015) – Materialise NV, a provider of Additive Manufacturing software and 3D printing solutions in the medical and industrial markets, announced the acquisition of Belgian-based CENAT, a developer of embedded computing software and solutions for additive manufacturing control systems. Materialise acquired CENAT for an upfront cash payment and will be required to make earn-out payments if certain conditions are satisfied.

(27 February 2015)—Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell) announced the Pearl gas-to-liquids (GTL) plant in Qatar entered planned maintenance in February 2015. Pearl GTL comprises two identical GTL trains, with a total capacity of 140,000 barrels per day of GTL products plus 120,000 barrels per day of natural gas liquids and ethane. One train, representing half the facility, has recently begun a planned turnaround maintenance progam, which will continue for a period of some 2 months.
