DUBA, Saudi Arabia (6 January 2014)—Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has selected GE for a project that marks Saudi Arabia’s first integration of a solar field with a combined-cycle plant and the first introduction of condensate as a gas turbine fuel.
BALTIMORE (Jan. 6, 2015) – Danfoss has appointed Joseph Rich as senior director of sales and marketing, North America.

PITTSBURGH (Jan. 5, 2015) – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based L.B. Foster Company has announced an agreement to acquire Chemtec Energy Services, LLC of Willis, Texas, a major supplier of blending, injection and custody transfer metering skids for critical uses in the oil and gas industry.
The acquisition expands L.B. Foster's ability to provide engineered solutions for the midstream market where a substantial amount of pipeline infrastructure is still needed.

(Jan. 5, 2015) – 3D Systems (3DS) has acquired U.K.-based 3-D printer maker botObjects and plans to launch the CubePro C, a new desktop full-color 3-D printer powered by botObjects' technology. The company did not disclose the terms of the transaction but expects it to be accretive to its 2015 results.

BRISBANE, Australia (Dec. 31, 2014) – GE Oil & Gas has contributed to the global liquefied natural gas industry with its systems used in the first ever large-scale production of liquified natural gas (LNG) from coal seam gas (CSG) at BG Group’s Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) plant on Curtis Island.
GE technology of gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and generators are integral parts of the QCLNG facility that has begun producing LNG for its first export shipment.
