ERLANGEN, Germany (Oct. 17, 2014) – After successful completion of several months of testing and trial runs, three Siemens gas turbines were recently handed over to Dow Stade at Dow's new cogeneration power plant. The cogeneration plant is part of the energy concept for the Dow chemical site located in Stade, Germany, along the Elbe River and contributes to secure power supply for the entire site. The installed capacity of the plant is 163 megawatts (MW).

HELSINKI (Oct. 13, 2014) — Six new ethane carriers (VLECs) with a capacity of 87,000 cubic meters, which are being built at the Samsung Heavy Industries yard in South Korea, will feature Wärtsilä gas-handling systems. The contract was signed in September, and this series has an option for additional vessels. Deliveries of the Wärtsilä solutions will commence in 2016.

RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 16, 2014) – VibrAlign, Inc., American distributor of Fixturlaser Alignment tools, has announced the expansion of their offerings as a shaft alignment training provider. VibrAlign now employs six full-time, professional trainers. Stan Riddle, David Zdrojewski, Tom Shelton, Brad Case, James Pekarek and Mac MacCormack will be leading training classes at VibrAligns Richmond office, their training location in Houston, Texas, and on-site at clients’ facilities.
