HOUSTON, Texas, U.S. (5 December 2014)—Halliburton announced that Abdulaziz F. Al Khayyal has been named to the company’s board of directors. The appointment was effective 4 December 2014 and Al Khayyal will stand for election by stockholders at the annual meeting in May 2015.

VANCOUVER, Canada (Dec. 3, 2014) – GE Oil & Gas announced that LNG Canada Development Inc. has selected GE’s LMS100-PB dry low emission (DLE) aeroderivative gas turbine as well as vertically and horizontally split centrifugal compressor technologies for its proposed gas liquefaction plant for the export of liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Kitimat, British Columbia.
