(Sept. 9, 2014) – Koch Membrane Systems (KMS), a developer and manufacturer of innovative membranes and membrane filtration systems, announced that it has been selected to provide PURON membrane bioreactor (MBR) modules for the upgrade of a wastewater treatment plant at a refinery in Russia. The system is designed for an average flow of 24,000 cubic meters per day (m3/d) (6.3M GPD), with peaks of up to 28,800 m³/d (7.6M GPD). Startup is scheduled for 2015.
