Composite materials are reshaping the performance and reliability of rotating equipment in pumps and compressors.
Nicolas Weibel
Nicolas Weibel, Ph.D, was a material science and composite technologies expert with over two decades of experience. Starting in 2007, he served as the director of Greene, Tweed & Co. (Suisse) SA and global technology manager for composites, driving innovation in advanced materials. In addition to his industry leadership, Weibel was a lecturer at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and International Academy of Sport Science and Technology (AISTS) for over 20 years, contributing to the Master’s in Sports Administration program. He sadly passed away prior to the publication of this article and will be greatly missed.
