Raymond Barufaldi graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1968 with bachelor’s degree in marine engineering and marine electrical engineering. He worked as an operating engineering officer for Moore McCormack Lines and Sealand. His pump industry experience includes roles as service engineer and pulp and paper marketing manager at Warren Pumps, sales engineer at Worthington and Ahlstrom Pumps and senior engineer at Schurco Slurry. In the pulp and paper industry, he worked as a project engineer and maintenance engineer at ITT Rayonier and as a maintenance supervisor at Georgia Pacific.
