KANSAS CITY, Kan. - VersaFlex Inc. and Raven Lining Systems announced this week that the two companies have merged, effective January 1, 2018. The joining of these brands in the specialty coatings industry allows the new company to expand and build upon combined expertise in polyurea, polyurethane, epoxy and cementitious technologies to better serve its global customers.
The company’s plan is to combine VersaFlex’s Polyurea University with Raven’s certified applicator program to develop a training and technical support program. Both VersaFlex and Raven are ISO 9001:2008 certified for operations. VersaFlex is also ISO 9001:2008 certified for design.
“When an opportunity arises to join forces with another industry leader you have to take advantage," Raven Lining Systems’ president Rob Pawlak said. "We are excited to become part of the VersaFlex team and leverage each other’s strengths to continue to provide the outstanding service our customers have become accustomed to over the past 30 years."
“This is truly a strategic merger of brands, leadership, products and service, which will result in a stronger combined company to meet the specialty protective lining and rehabilitation challenges that are ahead,” VersaFlex president Joe Haydu said. “We anticipate completing the integration of Raven’s Broken Arrow facility into VersaFlex’s Kansas City, Kan., facility by the end of the year.”
