FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Steven E. Westfall has been named president of Tuthill Transfer Systems, effective earlier this month.

Westfall comes from Tuthill Corporation’s Springfield, Missouri line of business, Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems, where he served as president since 2013. He was instrumental in leading the implementation of lean manufacturing processes that significantly improved product lead-time and operational efficiencies, grew revenues and earnings, and increased market share. From 2008 to 2013, Westfall led two companies owned by private equity firms, CST Storage and Detroit Tool Metal Products. He gained his leadership experience at EaglePicher Technologies from 1993 to 2008, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility, eventually serving as CEO and president from 2005 to 2008.

Westfall earned his master’s degree in business administration and bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University in Kansas.
