AxFlow GesmbH Austria, part of the AxFlow Group, announced its acquisition of VIP Tehnika, which specializes in sales and service of pumps for water and waste water applications.

The business is located in Maribor, Slovenia, some 40 kilometers from AxFlow's office in Graz, and provides AxFlow with a second base from which to grow its operations in Balkans, in particular, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia and in Austria.

VIP Tehnika, found in 1991, is a distributor of centrifugal pumps like Xylem Lowara, Xylem Vogel, Calpeda, Pedrollo. Its main activities cover sales, installation, commissioning, pump repairs, assembly, and system integration. A further significant offering is its capabilities to design and manufacture small pump systems, including control panels for protection of pumps and regulation of constant pressure or flow. Pump servicing and repairs can be provided both on-site and in the company's own state-of-the-art service centre and stock management facility.

On April 29, AxFlow acquired Innva AS in Norway. Innva is a technical distributor of premium valves and piping solutions for the water and wastewater segment in Norway.

Headquartered in Baerum, a suburb of Oslo, Innva is highly regarded in the water and wastewater segment in Norway. Since its foundation in October 2014, Innva has enjoyed strong, double-digit growth. Although it will become part of the AxFlow Norway Group, Innva will continue its operations from its current premises in Baerum under its brand.

“The acquisition of Innva is in line with the AxFlow Group’s strategy of expanding our offering in valves and related technical expertise,” said Ole Weiner, CEO, AxFlow Holding.

AxFlow AS has been selling pumps, complete pump stations, instrumentation and valves for water and wastewater treatment in Norway for decades, representing major brands such as Hidrostal, Wika, Sensus, Siemens, Emerson and Honeywell.
