BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Motion Asia Pacific announced the appointment of Ross Wotherspoon as Chief Operating Officer, Australia.
Ross will oversee Motion Asia Pacific’s Australian operations and business brands that include CBC, BSC, Hardy Spicer, Cram, Seal Innovations, SpecFast and AIP.
Wotherspoon started his career as a cadet at the Port Kembla Steelworks where he was trained as a fitter and turner and went on to graduate as a Mechanical Engineer. Ross continued to build a successful career in management working for BHP and CSR. He joins Motion from Metso Australia, which he has led for the past ten years.
Wotherspoon will play a key role in driving several of Motion’s strategic initiatives. He is a welcomed addition to Motion Asia Pacific’s executive team and will be a valued member of the wider Motion Group.
