BROOKSHIRE, Texas – Grundfos today announced the grand opening of its Grundfos US Headquarters located outside of Houston in Brookshire, Texas. This facility houses both the Global Headquarters for Water Utility and Main Office for Grundfos Americas Corporation. 

On November 2, the grand opening celebration led by Grundfos Country President USA Ansell Sims and Grundfos Group President & CEO Poul Due Jensen saw a good participation from government officials and community members, including H.E. Christina Markus Lassen, Danish Ambassador, Morten Siem Lynge, Consul General of Denmark, Vince Yokom, Waller County Economic Development Partnership, Amanda Tullos, President of GreenNexus, Betty Russo from the Texas Governor’s Office, Trey Duhon, Waller County Judge and Rachel Valis, President of the West I10 Chamber of Commerce.

Grundfos executives hosted a ribbon cutting to commemorate the opening of the new building and then hosted a facility tour. “This grand opening celebration has been two years in the making. It’s very meaningful to open our one-of-a-kind, innovative building with Grundfos leadership from Denmark and all over the world as well as prominent community members, customers and partners,” said Ansell Sims, Country President, Grundfos USA. 

“With the opening of the Global Headquarters for Water Utility in the U.S., Grundfos is establishing this growing division in the largest municipal water market in the U.S. What we create here in the U.S. will help solve the world’s water and climate challenges,” said HP Nanda, CEO Water Utility Division at Grundfos. “The new building is a one-of-a-kind, sustainable building that serves as a central meeting place for the global Grundfos team, customers, partners, and business leaders from around the world who are exploring ways to improve their sustainability efforts.”
