DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – SJE, Inc. has announced the acquisition of AMI Global from Cimbria Capital. With the combined capabilities, SJE expects to accelerate the delivery of advanced cloud connected opportunities and offer its customers a comprehensive platform of remote monitoring solutions. The AMI global acquisition represents SJE’s sixth since 2021 and first in 2025.
AMI Global is a leading industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technology company providing end-to-end remote connectivity solutions for industrial equipment with a deep expertise in the broader pump application and water wastewater markets.
Founded in 2009, AMI Global has grown into a trusted expert in delivering simple, cost-effective and scalable cloud solutions for industrial equipment manufacturers.

As part of the acquisition, SJE has established a new Cloud Connected Solutions division, which will be led by Laursen. AMI Global will be further strengthened by SJE’s technical expertise and in-house manufacturing capabilities.
