The approved pump test lab is located at the company headquarters in Cranston, Rhode Island.

WINTERTHUR, Switzerland (Dec. 20, 2016)—Sulzer has signed a binding agreement to acquire Wärtsilä’s Vessel Internal Electrostatic Coalescer (VIEC) business, according to a statement released by Sulzer. The VIEC business employs 13 people and is based in Asker, Norway.
LEONBERG, Germany (Dec. 20, 2016)—LEWA has commissioned a new test room for process pumps at its Leonberg, Germany, site, according to a statement from the company. The new test facility allows the operation of up to four pumps in parallel in variable frequency drive operation. All pump data is continuously monitored.

DUBLIN, Ireland (Dec. 15, 2016)—The business analysis firm Research and Markets has announced the availability of the report called “Membrane Technology for Liquid and Gas Separations.”
The combined U.S. market for membranes used in liquid and gas separations should reach $4.6 billion by 2021, an increase from the $3.4 billion level in 2016, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.2 percent from 2016 to 2021, according to the report.
