The all-star Operations Challenge team competed against 36 teams from six countries as part of the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management, which runs from May 30 to June 3.
CALDWELL, Idaho (June 2, 2016)—Xylem has secured a contract worth $1.9 million from the City of Caldwell in Idaho to add an advanced wastewater filtration system to the city’s existing wastewater treatment facility. The inclusion of tertiary filtration technology will enhance the treatment of wastewater effluent being discharged into the Boise River by removing suspended solids and ensuring that the facility can meet stricter regulations.
AUSTIN, Texas (June 1, 2016)—The Texas Water Development Board approved financial assistance totaling $14,815,433 for a new wastewater treatment plant and a reclaimed water system. Of this funding, $2,045,000 was designated for a rural water project.
