DAMMAM, Saudi Arabia (April 1, 2014)—GE has broken ground on the GE Oil & Gas Manufacturing Facility, located in Second Industrial City in Dammam. SUGAR LAND, Texas (March 26, 2014) – Yokogawa Electric Corporation announces that its subsidiary, Yokogawa China Co., Ltd., has received orders from Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. (Yanchang Petro) to supply Yokogawa control systems for two oil plant construction projects in China. These plants will employ KBR’s Veba Combi-Cracking (VCC) process, a technology that converts petroleum residues into gasoline and diesel oil products.
