KYOTO, Japan (Sept. 25, 2013) – Nidec Corporation today announced that one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, Nidec Sankyo Corporation ("Nidec Sankyo"), has agreed to purchase all of the shares of common stock of Mitsubishi Materials C.M.I. Corporation ("CMI") from Mitsubishi Materials Corporation ("Mitsubishi Materials") (the "Transaction"). Nidec Sankyo and Mitsubishi Materials have entered into a basic agreement in connection with the Transaction as of September 26, 2013.

HELSINKI (Sept. 23, 2013) – Metso will supply Oskarshamn Energi with a complete biomass-fired power plant for combined heat and power production in Oskarshamn in Sweden. The start-up of the plant is scheduled for winter 2015. The value of the order will not be disclosed.
ZURICH (Sept. 19, 2013) – ABB has won an order worth around $25 million to supply its marine propulsion system, Azipod, and complete electric power plants for two new rescue and salvage icebreakers that are under construction at Nordic Yards GmbH in Germany.
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland (Sept. 19, 2013) – Xylem Inc. has won a contract to develop and install a secondary wastewater treatment solution that will eliminate effluent odor problems and significantly improve the quality of wastewater in the town of Tolu on the Colombian Caribbean coast. The Xylem solution is one of the first wastewater treatment systems using ultraviolet (UV) disinfection to be developed in Colombia.

The voting phase included professionals from the sector and a strict technical evaluation of the candidates.
