Godwin, manufacturer of the Dri-Prime® automatic self-priming, dry-running pump, recently held a raffle to benefit the National Military Family Association (NMFA).

Godwin employees were able to raise $4,595.00 for the NMFA, the leading charity committed to strengthening and protecting service members' families in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and NOAA. The money raised is enough to send eight children to Operation Purple camps.

Anvil International, a manufacturer of pipe fittings, pipe hangers and piping support systems, announced that its University Park, Ill., distribution center has achieved the milestone of 1,000 days without a lost time incident. Anvil International is a subsidiary of Mueller Water Products Inc. (NYSE:MWA), a leading North American provider of water infrastructure products and services.

Flowserve Corporation, a provider of flow control products and services for the global infrastructure markets, announced that Michael S. Taff has been named the company's senior vice president and chief financial officer. Taff will formally join the company after completing his consulting duties with his former employer, which is expected in early 2012. He will report to Mark Blinn, president and chief executive officer.

Colfax Corporation, a manufacturer of fluid-handling solutions for critical applications, announced the appointment of Rick McKay to account manager for Colfax Fluid Handling's Power Generation and Industrial Solutions.

McKay will help drive the sale of a complete spectrum of fluid handling products and services across the South Central territory, which encompasses Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.
