ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (March 28, 2013) – Danfoss announced the partnership of its Arkadelphia, Ark.-based facility with the local high school’s STEM Works program to facilitate the professional development of science, technology, engineering and math students.

BALTIMORE (Feb. 22, 2013) – Ole Møller-Jensen will take over as President of the Danfoss Power Electronics division with effect from March 2013. Ole Møller-Jensen is currently the Senior Vice President of the VLT Drives business unit in Danfoss Power Electronics. He joined Danfoss in 1978, and has held a number of positions primarily within sales & marketing, product development and business management.
(Jan. 8, 2013) – Mette Refshauge has been appointed Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at Danfoss, with effect from Jan. 7, 2013. She will join the Danfoss Group Committee, reporting to CEO & President, Niels B. Christiansen.
BALTIMORE (Jan. 21, 2013) – Danfoss has acquired full ownership of the joint venture company Danfoss Turbocor, in which Danfoss has had a 50 percent owner’s share since 2004. The company develops, produces and markets high-efficiency variable speed compressors in the capacity range of 75-200 ton per unit which are primarily used in very large commercial air-conditioning applications.
BALTIMORE (Dec. 13, 2012) – Effective Feb. 1, 2013, Danfoss has appointed the current divisional president of Danfoss Commercial Compressors, Leif Flojgaard, as new regional president of Danfoss Middle East & Africa. Leif Flojgaard’s career at Danfoss spans 32 years, during which he has held a number of global positions in China, Singapore and the Danube region, among others.
BALTIMORE (Dec. 18, 2012) – As of Feb. 1, 2013, Christian Overgaard is appointed President of Danfoss China, succeeding Thomas Koniordos, who will relocate to Europe and take over as Senior Vice President of Danfoss Industrial Automation.
Christian Overgaard will be responsible for the overall operation for Danfoss China and continues to head the Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Controls activities in China.
