PARSIPPANY, N.J. – Recognizing the growing need for trained personnel throughout the pump industries and in the end-user communuity, the Hydraulic Institute, through its educational subsidiary, Pump Systems Matter® (PSM) has created an Authorized Training Partner (ATP) program. The ATP Program will help bring Pump Systems Matter curriculum to the community of operators and maintenance personnel who face increasing challenges and workforce training demands.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – The Hydraulic Institute (HI) announced new leadership during the 2018 HI Annual Conference at the Wigwam Resort in Phoenix, Arizona.

Paul Behnke was appointed to the position of vice-president, certification and technical programs while three new members have joined the Board of Directors for three-year terms:

• Scott King – vice-president, Gorman-Rupp, Mansfield Division

• Brian Sweeney – president, Crane Pumps & Systems, Inc.

The Hydraulic Institute (HI) held its annual spring conference in Phoenix, Arizona, where the group awarded several individual and group prizes. Long-time members were recognized, as were companies that are leading the industry in efficiency and training.

About 300 members and associates attended the event, which was held at The Wigwam resort. Numerous technical meetings, several learning roundtables, panel discussions and presentations were held.
