DUBLIN (April 6, 2017) -- The United States water and wastewater treatment chemicals market is forecast to reach $5 billion by 2026, according to a new report by Research and Markets.

Research and Markets find that an increase in industrial facilities across the country, along with government policies like the NPDES permit requirement, is positively affecting the treatment chemicals market. From the report:

STOCKHOLM, Sweden (April 4, 2017) -- Atlas Copco is set to acquire Pressure Compressores Ltds., a Brazilian manufacturer of piston coompressors and related equipment.

Atlas Copco did not disclose the purchase price. According to a release, Pressure Compressores will fold into the Professional Air division in the Compressor Technique business area once the acquisition closes during the second quarter of 2017.

ZURICH, Switzerland (April 4, 2017) -- ABB on Tuesday announced the acquisition of Bernecker + Rainer Industrie-Elektronik GmbH, an Austria-based independent provider focused on product- and software-based, open-architecture solutions for machine and factory automation worldwide.

A purchase price was not disclosed, but the deal is expected to close by the end of summer 2017.

Atlanta, Georgia (March 30, 2017) -- Genuine Parts Company and Inenco Group announced today that Inenco will issue new shares to Genuine Parts Company, representing a 35 percent stake in Inenco for approximately $70 million (USD) in cash. The investment will go into place on April 3.

Genuine Parts Company will have the opportunity to acquire the remaining 65% stake in Inenco at a later date.
