NOTTINGHAM, U.K. (Nov. 21, 2016)—Xylem has been awarded a new five-year framework agreement with Scottish Water, the body responsible for water and sewerage services across Scotland, according to a statement from the company.

Under the agreement, Xylem will supply and install submersible and diesel pumps for all Scottish Water rental applications across the region.

WEST provides specialty chemicals and engineering service for water treatment in a variety of industries including commercial and institutional facilities, light industry, oil fields, and central heating/cooling plants.

DENVER (Nov. 15, 2016) – The Water Research Foundation and the American Water Works Association (AWWA), in partnership with West Virginia American Water, Greater Cincinnati Water Works and Aqua America Inc., have published a new report that developed a detailed methodology for identifying potential sources of contamination upstream of drinking water intakes, particularly from above-ground storage tanks (ASTs).
