(Jan. 14, 2016) – Graphite Metallizing Holdings Inc (GMHI) has purchased Exalto UK, the manufacturer and worldwide supplier of water lubricated bearings, from its Dutch owners, Exalto BV. GMHI, the US-based manufacturer of bearings, has established a new UK company, Exalto Bearings UK Ltd, who will continue to supply the Marine and Pump Industries worldwide with quality bearings.

DALLAS (Jan. 14, 2016) – Accudyne Industries has named Charles L. “Chuck” Treadway chief executive officer, succeeding Elmer Doty. Treadway, who most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Thomas & Betts Corporation, a global business unit of ABB, will assume the position on March 1 and be based in Dallas, Texas. Accudyne is a portfolio company of BC Partners and The Carlyle Group.

(Jan. 12, 2016) – Stora Enso Timber Ab and KPA Unicon Oy have signed a contract for a biomass-fired hot water boiler plant delivery to Stora Enso sawmill Ala in Ljusne, Sweden. The new Unicon Biograte 15 MWth boiler plant will use bark and wood residues from the Ala sawmill as fuel, and it will produce hot water to the sawmill´s drying kilns. The new biomass boiler plant is scheduled to be in operation by November 2016.

SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland (Jan. 11, 2016) – Xylem, a global water technology company, has been awarded a $1.3 million contract to provide advanced treatment technology to the Saigon Water Corporation’s Tan Hiep Water Treatment Plant 2 in Vietnam’s capital, Ho Chi Minh City. Under the contract, Xylem will design, install and commission an expansion of the existing treatment plant, to include the first ozone treatment application in Vietnam.

(Jan. 7, 2016) – The Endress+Hauser Group is making personnel changes at the top. Dr Gerhard Jost, a member of the executive board, retired at the end of 2015. Dr Manfred Jagiella has joined the Group’s top management panel. On June 1, 2016, Michael Ziesemer will move to the company’s Supervisory Board. At the same time, Andreas Mayr will take over responsibility on the Executive Board.
