DECATUR, Ga. (Dec. 4, 2013) – Newcomb Spring Corp. named Daniel (Dan) Tetreault as the new general manager of its New England facility, Newcomb Spring of Connecticut. In this position, Tetreault will oversee operations at the plant, lead new business development and assist customers in the manufacture of custom springs, wire forms and stamped metal parts.

Tetreault was previously employed at WAFIOS Machinery Corporation, where he served as vice president.

WARSAW, Ind. (Nov. 27, 2013) – Topp Industries, Inc. announced the appointment of JJ Lang to manage its wholesale sales business across the U.S. and Canada. The creation of this new position at Topp Industries marks another investment in Topp’s effort to strengthen its relationships with its wholesale channel partners and independent sales agents domestically and abroad.

ERLANGEN, Germany (Nov. 22, 2013) – Siemens Energy commissioned the Santo Domingo de los Olleros simple cycle power plant in Peru to Termochilca SAC after only 19 months of construction. Siemens erected the turnkey plant and will also continue to service the plant with a long-term service agreement. The 200 megawatt natural gas fueled power generation plant will start service in a simple cycle mode with an option for a combined cycle plant in the next phase.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Oct. 18, 2013) – WEG Electric announced investments of $345 million throughout the next five years for the expansion and increased production in both Mexico and China.

The existing manufacturing complex in Mexico will benefit from expanded production capacity as well as increased vertical integration, making it similar to WEG’s largest industrial complex in Jaraguá do Sul, Brazil.

Oakbrook Terrace, Ill. (Nov. 18, 2013) – Pump Solutions Group (PSG), an operating company within Dover Corporation and a provider of pumps, systems and related technologies, announced that it has completed the acquisition of Finder Pompe S.p.A. (Finder) for a purchase price of approximately $145 million, subject to normal post-closing adjustments.
