CLEVELAND (April 7, 2013) – SKF has extended service further across the globe, with five new SKF Solution Factory facilities that opened in 2012. The global network of sites, which offer knowledge and resources from all SKF technology platforms, now stands at a total of 21, from Moscow (Russia), to Shanghai (China), to Cleveland (USA) to Perth (Australia).

SURREY, B.C. (April 5, 2012) – Singer Valve, a manufacturer of control valves, hosted a grand opening of their manufacturing plant in Taicang, China, complete with ceremony, plant tour and traditional Chinese banquet for close to 100 people. Li Jun, General Manager for China said, “It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the facility, meet with new agents and recognize the many individuals and organizations that made this new facility possible.”

MIDDLETON, Wisc. (April 4, 2013) – Thomas Gavinski has joined Fristam Pumps as Sales Manager - Americas. In his new position, Gavinski will oversee Fristam’s North, South and Central American Sales Departments as well as the Customer Service Department.

Gavinski comes to Fristam with 18 years of sales and sales management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications/Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (April 2, 2013) – Registration and housing is now open for WEFTEC® 2013, the Water Environment Federation’s (WEF) 86th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference. Scheduled for Oct. 5 – 9, 2013 at McCormick Place South in Chicago, this year’s event includes a new pricing structure that accommodates for ongoing economic challenges and gives greater access to the hallmarks of WEFTEC.

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. (April 2, 2013) – Pump Solutions Group (PSG®) is further exhibiting its commitment to the growing Chinese and Asia-Pacific industrial-pump markets with the opening of a new PSG Shanghai Commercial Sales Office in Shanghai, China. This office will be a cornerstone of PSG’s sales and marketing efforts and technical product support in the region, with an emphasis on continued growth in China over the next three to five years.

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (March 28, 2013) – Danfoss announced the partnership of its Arkadelphia, Ark.-based facility with the local high school’s STEM Works program to facilitate the professional development of science, technology, engineering and math students.

STEM Works is a program implemented in 2011 by Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe and his Workforce Cabinet to help ensure the state’s workforce will be able to meet escalating demands for employees in high-tech fields.
