SINGAPORE (July 1, 2015) – Xylem Inc. has been awarded a contract worth more than $500,000 to supply ultraviolet (UV) disinfection solutions to a major municipal water reclamation facility in Singapore. As a result of the extensive treatment including Xylem’s Wedeco UV disinfection solution, the city’s industrial sector and communities living in the east of the city, will benefit from an additional 228,000 tons (50 million gallons) of reclaimed water per day.
