SUGAR LAND, Texas (March 26, 2014) – Yokogawa Electric Corporation announces that its subsidiary, Yokogawa China Co., Ltd., has received orders from Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co., Ltd. (Yanchang Petro) to supply Yokogawa control systems for two oil plant construction projects in China. These plants will employ KBR’s Veba Combi-Cracking (VCC) process, a technology that converts petroleum residues into gasoline and diesel oil products.

The company acquired the assets of BCSI, a provider of Dry Sorbent Injection (DSI) systems, in August, 2012 to position the company for the market of controlling acid gases to meet the Mercury and Air Toxics Standard (MATS).
