COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The National Recovery Council of Malaysia recently announced recommendations for Malaysia to fully reopen its borders on March 1, 2022. With this welcomed news, the Turbomachinery Laboratory at Texas A&M University is moving forward with plans to hold the Asia Turbomachinery and Pump Symposium (ATPS) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia May 23-26, 2022.
COLLEGE STATION, Texas - After much thought and consideration, the leadership team of the TEES Turbomachinery Laboratory has decided to transition the face-to-face Asia Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium event to a virtual setting.
All short courses and technical sessions, as well as the exhibition, will be held online. The symposium dates will continue to be Feb. 23-25, with short courses on Feb. 22, 2021.
HOUSTON - The annual Turbomachinery & Pump Symposium for 2020 has been canceled, Turbo Lab director Eric Petersen said in an email to exhibitors.
The event was scheduled for Sept. 15-17 in Houston, with short courses on Sept. 14, but like many other events, has been called off due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Petersen said a virtual version of the event, likely in early December, would be held in its place with details to follow.
