EXTON, Pa. -- NETZSCH Pumps North America has tapped Robert LePera is its new vice president of OEM Sales.

LePera has more than three decades experience in the pumps industry. His previous roles include national sales manager, marketing manager, vice president of global sales and commercial director. He's led both domestic and internationl teams.

LePera will oversee a team the includes sales, service and engineering for OEM customers.

Franklin Electric has donated 13 Little Giant pumps to the Turtle Survival Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to achieving zero turtle extinctions.

According to Franklin Electric, TSA's South Carolina location houses more than 600 turtles which make up 21 of the world's 25 most critically endangered species. TSA aims to cultivate "assurance colonies" of some of the most endangered turtles with the hopes of reintroducing offspring to the wild.

Pfeiffer Vacuum this month is breaking ground on a new facility for its North American headquarters.

The new, 27,000-square-foot building in Nashua, New Hampshire will house administration, sales, product management, marketing and customer care. The existing building will be converted to an all-service center where Pfeiffer will use state-of-the-art automated cleaning and test equipment.

Pfeiffer employs around 2,400 people worldwide and has more than 20 subsidiaries.

Weir Oil & Gas will acquire KOP Surface Products for an estimated $114 million, the company announced this week.

Singapore-based KOP Surface Products designs and manufactures wellheads, surface trees, valves, actuators and aftermarkets services. KOP employs 450 people in eight countries.

According a Weir release, KOP's management ream will remain on board after the acquisition, reporting into Weir's Oil & Gas Division.

ROSEMONT, IL. -- Wilo USA is welcoming two new leaders in its marketing and sales offices.

Tim Stapula has been tapped as Wilo's new director of marketing. Stapula will oversee the strategy and management of Wilo's marketing program, including the direction of content creation, social media management, ad campaigns and news releases. According to a Wilo release, Stapula previously worked as a marketing manager for a major precision tooling company.
